Autumn in the Berkshires promises to be as thrilling as ever!  There is still time to attend a theatrical performance at Shakespeare and Co., the Berkshire Theater Festival, the Colonial Theater, Barrington Stage, as well as the Mahaiwe theater, where there is opera,  dance and singing  throughout the year.  There is something here for everyone!
The Berkshires are also a destination for sports and physical fitness buffs.  Biking, hiking, canoeing, swimming, horseback riding and yoga (Kripalu Yoga Center) are popular, including the famous Josh Billings Triathlon which takes place on September 14.
