WHISTLER’S INN, an English Tudor mansion built in 1820 in the heart of the Berkshire hills near Tanglewood, takes you into a period of old world charm and relaxation. Once the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Wynans Whistler (railroad tycoon and nephew of the painter, James A. M. Whistler), Whistler’s Inn captures the warmth and elegance of a bygone era. Each room is individually furnished with antiques (some with fireplaces) and all have private baths. Across from the famous Church On The Hill and Kennedy Park, Whistler’s Inn is just two blocks to the center of Lenox and to some of the finest restaurants and shops in the Berkshires.
